Brand-by-brand U.S. auto sales results: April 2016 YTD

The U.S. auto industry once again documented gains in excess of three percent in April 2016, thanks to significant improvements from Honda, Nissan, as well as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

General Motors continued to de-emphasize fleet sales. FCA continued to emphasize motivation spending, with TrueCar pegging their own average April motivation per vehicle at a hair under $4,000. Only BMW’s had been higher.
